January saw the annual exchange working at The Three Grand Principles Lodge, Penryn when Love and Honour came from Falmouth to carry out the advancement. The candidate was Herman Aquirre-Jofre and Love and Honour carried out an excellent ceremony. The Brethren afterwards celebrated “Burns Night” which was kindly laid on by W Bro Gavin Wilson and his team. The Haggis was piped in and then addressed by W Bro Gavin who gave an impressive rendition of “The Selkirk Grace.” The brethren then enjoyed their Haggis, Neeps and Tatties and plenty of whiskey to wash it down. The evening was finished off by a rendition of Auld Lang Syne and Trelawney. Everyone who attended said it was a great night and it has already been booked for next year.
A special thanks must go to W Bro. Gavin and his team who gave us a most enjoyable evening.
